‘Music in the Park’ is an initiative by the residents of CIT Colony. The hosts decided to make good use of a recently redeveloped park to host a kutcheri, as they do at Nageswara Rao Park in Luz was a good idea.
So on September 26, 7 a.m. onwards young Apoorva will present a vocal recital accompanied by Parur Ananthalakshmi on the violin and Srivatsa on the mridangam.
The concert will run for an hour at the Chennai Corporation Park, Fifth Cross Street, CIT Colony, Mylapore.
This is to be a monthly programme that will be organised on the last Sunday of every month.
