Two people died in a fire which broke out in a house in Karpagam Avenue during the early hours of Wednesday (Oct.6).
Firemen later said the cause of the fire was uncertain.
Hemachandran and his wife Mahalakshmi, both in there fifties, died in their bedroom. Their maids manage to escape.
The woman was the daughter of a famed Mumbai – based underworld don.
