Christmas was celebrated in a grand way in the neighbourhood.
There were night services held in all the churches. People sung carols and decorated their houses with lights.
A large part of the community participated in the night service and greeted each other.
A grand crib was set in all the churches and houses. They were well decorated with lights.
A grand crib was set inside the campus of Our Lady of Visitation in Mary’s Road, Alwarpet (seen in the picture).
