Shanti Arts Foundation and Endowments (SAFE) presents its 15th annual Music Event 2010, which is the last phase of the Global GNB Centenary celebrations at Srinivasa Sastri Hall, Mylapore from December 8 – 18.
Two concerts a day -at 4.30 p.m. and another at 6.30 p.m. by seasoned artistes are planned.
Senior musicians G S Mani, Seerkazhi Jayaraman and K R Saranathan will be honoured on the inaugural day, December 8 at 5 p.m.

Sruti Laya Kendra has its 23rd Winter Music Festival on December 10 and 11 at Asthika Samajam, Alwarpet. His Holiness Srirangam Srimath Sri Rangaramanuja Mahadesikan Swamigal (Srimusham) presents this year’s Sri Guru Surajananda award to Harikatha exponent Araavamudaachaariar and the Gowri Manohari award to theatre person Crazy Mohan on December 11 at 5.15 p.m.

Chennai Fine Arts organises a music fest in memory of the late artist and musician S Rajam between December 5 and 16 at Gokhale Sastri Hall, Mylapore. This is the 8th Vaggeyakara Vaibhavam, Visesha Vadyanubhava and Yuvakala Vaibhavam festival. There are concerts between 5 and 6.15 p.m. and lecture demonstrations between 6.20 and 6.40 p.m which are followed by concerts based on the topic of that day.
