V. Muthuveeramani (alias Veeramani), retired professor of mathematics, A. M. Jain College, Meenambakkam and visiting faculty Anna University passed away on March 24. He was 62.
He completed his schooling from P. S. High School and graduated in mathematics from Vivekananda College and completed his PG studies from Loyola College, Chennai, topping the class in the first year.
His interest in mathematics led him on to complete M.Phil later.
His interest in astrology enabled him to practice this as a science and he tendered his astrological guidance freely.
He was the brother of V. Veeraswami, Kapaleeswaran, Lalitha Natarajan and Jayalaskhmi Jayaraman.
Veeramani lives in different areas in Mylapore and fnally settled in Mandaveli in 1987.
He leaves behind his wife M. Lalitha and sons M. Karthik and M.Veeraraghavan.
