Namma Mylapore is organising a tour of the Bronze Gallery of the Madras Museum, Egmore on Saturday, March 12 at 10.30 a.m. The tour ends at 12 noon.
Dr. Chithra Madhavan will lead the group on this tour and will explain the history, special features and aesthetic appeal of the bronze icons.
The tour is limited to the first 20 participants only and a fee of Rs.50 (which includes the entrance fee to the museum) will be charged. (This applies to Indian nationals and foreign nationals have a different entrance fee structure.)
The assembly point is at the main entrance of the museum at 10.15 a.m. Camera tickets are priced at Rs.250 by the museum and participants must buy the tickets on their own.
