P. Saradambal, wife of late M. Parthasarathy, retired Chief Auditor, Southern Railway passed away recently. She was 97 years old.
She grew up in Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh and moved to Chennai after her marriage.
She was a resident of Triplicane and T. Nagar before moving to Mylapore in 1987. She donated money for the cause of education, temples, ghosalas and thirumangalyams to several economically weaker people.
Her eyes were donated to Sankara Nethralaya after her death. She is survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters.
