The students of Lady Sivaswami Ayyar Girls Higher Secondary School, Mylapore attended a special prayer Assembly on June 15 at the Prayer Hall.
This school re-opened on Wednesday and students were invited to start the new academic year with a prayer.
Most schools in the neighbourhood re-opened on June 15 after the summer vacation.
Many schools had a special Assembly before the start of a new academic year.
