The Kolam Contest to be held on Sunday, Jan 8 evening is to be web streamed. This will enable people from around the world to enjoy the unique event which is part of the annual Mylapore Festival.
The event can be seen at www.mylaporefestival.com.
It will be streamed on the Net from about 3.30 pm to about 5 pm. It will feature the contestants, about 100 of them from the city of Chennai designing the kolams on North Mada Street, Mylapore, closeups of the best 20/25 kolams and interviews with the best deisgners.
This film will still be available on the Net at the fest web site for viewing Jan.9 onwards.
It will remain online for a few months.
