Mylapore Sports Trust had donated a table tennis table to Vidya Mandir School, Luz.
The inauguration was held on Jan.20 at the school premises.
Vivek Sarabeswaran, former national men’s TT player was the chief guest. He played the first game on the donated table with a Vidya Mandir school student.
Also present on the occasion were K Swaminathan, MD of Swathy Builders, donor of the TT table and Mohan Ramalingam, Trustee of Mylapore Sports Trust.
This Trust has begun supporting sports events and projects in the Mylapore area and has now focussed on TT.
