This Sunday marks the beginning of the Holy Week observed by all Catholics.
Palm Sunday will be celebrated on April 1. A special Holy Mass will be held at St. Raphael’s School in the morning and blessed palm leaves will be taken in a procession to different churches in the neighbourhood.
Solemn Holy Masses will be held at all churches on April 5 and 6, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. These recall the trials and death of Jesus.
There will be special Holy Mass for senior citizens on April 1 at 11 a.m. at National Shrine of St. Thomas. A blood donation camp is also organised here.
At Our Lady of Guidance Church, R. A. Puram a special procession will be taken around the streets on April 6 at 6 p.m.
