A new solar powered inverter was inaugurated at Vidya Mandir Senior Sec. School today, Dec.21.
It was inaugurated by Viji Santhanam, President of the Vidya Mandir managing committee. Sudeep Jain, IAS, CMD of Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency was the chief guest.
This project was sponsored by the students of 1987 batch, to commemorate their silver jubilee reunion.
The idea behind this project is to reduce the electricity consumption and increase uninterrupted power supply during shutdowns, says an alumni of this batch.
This project was executed by K. R. Harinarayan, an alumnus of this batch.
