Vasant utsavan is on at Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore. A celebration at summer time.
Inside the temple campus, a mini tank has been created and water filled in it. There is a central mantapa and a teppam also inside the tank, with a small lingam inside the teppam.
Every evening, the gods, taken in procession also go around the tank here. Some devotees drop coins as offerings in the tank.
