Endr-Endrum-MS (MS Forever) is a Vasantha Memorial Trust initiative to propagate the music and memories of the songs of “The Bharathis – Suddhananda Bharathi, Gopalakrishna Bharathi and Subramania Bharathi” popularized by M. S. Subbalakshmi.
These compositions will be rendered by Priyanka C. Prakash, a Bangalorean trained by Vidushi Neela Ramagopal.
MS’s rendering of Suddanananda Bharathi’s ‘Kanneduthangilum kaanero’ in the raga ‘Simhendra Madhyamum; reaches the core of the being of the listener. Similar is the state when she renders Gopalkrishna Bharathi’s ‘Tiruvadi charanam’ or ‘Ethanai koti inbam’ of Bharathiar.
Priyanka will be accompanied by Parur Ananthakrishnan on the violin and Thanjavur Praveen Kumar on the mridangam.
