Madhuradhwani is conducting the next in a series of ‘lec-dems’. The topics will cover the Trinity of Carnatic music saint Tyagaraja, Sri Mudduswami Dikshitar, and Sri Syama Sastri – whose compositions are a musical treasure.
Vidwan V V Subrahmanyam will present a lec-dem titled ‘Vidarsana: Unveiling the Esoteric Subtleties of Carnatic Music’ in which he will unravel the multiple layers of these compositions.
The secrets of the Upanishads, Yoga Sastra, Mantras, Puranas, as well as aspects of vocal and instrumental music, as well as the inner world of the mind can be found in these compositions.
This musical exposition will be rendered by VVS Murari, Lakshmi Sreeram and Raghav Krishna. The guests of honour will be G. S. Mani and B. M. Sundaram.
