Forum of Anglo-Indian Women to hold dance-music-games event this Sunday

If you like to spend time this Sunday shaking a leg to fast-paced music, take a shot at a game of Housie and take home a few packets of spiced mutton biryani made by a senior Parsi caterer, you may want to check out this Hip & Hop event in San Thome.

Hosted by the Forum of Anglo-Indian Women headed by Dr Beatrix D’Souza, the event is on Sept.22, Sunday from 10.30 am to 5 pm at the auditorium at the St. Bede’s Anglo Indian School, San Thome.

D’Souza, a San Thome resident says this event is meant to raise funds to pay for scholarships for poor but talented young people of the community who seek higher education avenues.

Sunday’s fun event is open to all. Between the music and dances, fun games for kids and seniors will be held.  A DJ will spin the  music and the floor will be open to couples to dance to their heart’s content.

You need to donate Rs.200 for admission to the event.
