Vinayaka Chathurti procession today to Foreshore Estate seaside

Traffic on San Thome High Road will be regulated as the caravan of vans, lorries and carts begin to take this road and head towards the seashore of Foreshore Estate on Sunday, September 15.

The vehicles will be carrying the images of lord Ganesha which will be immersed in the sea after the weeklong celebrations.

The procession of vans and carts had begun on Saturday. But this traffic will get heavy on Sunday.

Heavy police security has been provided on the route.

The caravans turn off to the sea at the Foreshore Estate junction and enter the beachside at the bus terminus end.
