The 11th Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) was launched yesterday amidst much fanfare by actors Kamal Hassan and Aamir Khan. A multi-cultural mix of movies have been selected to be featured across different theatres in the city.
In the Mylapore area, Inox Cinemas at City Centre Mall on RK Salai will play host with two of its screens showcasing world cinema, Indian panorama, contemporary films from Turkey, Iran and Taiwan and other countries, retrospectives and many more categories all through the week-long festival. Shows begin at 10.45 a.m. and the last show of the day is at 6.45 p.m.
