The Navathi (90th) Avatara Mahotsavam of Sri Srinivasa Perumal will be held from May 9 – 11. Festivities include a veda parayanam by 100 scholars at 8 a.m and 7 p.m. on all the three days and a special Kalyana Utsavam on May 10 at 4 p.m.
On May 11, Moolavar Thirumanjanam will be conducted at 5 a.m. followed by a Thirumanjanam for Perumal and Thayar (Utsavar) at 9 a.m. The celebrations will end with a visesha veedhi purappadu at 6.30 p.m. At Vedanta Desikar Temple, Mylapore. Ph: 24953799.
