The residents of Abbotsbury – a residential complex on C. P. Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet celebrated Independence Day at their premises on Aug 15. The flag was hoisted by a retired railway employee – Natarajan. A group of women, trained by resident vocalist Shankiri. A. Natarajan, delighted the audience with their patriotic songs. The event ended with a sumptuous breakfast hosted by the association.
