On September 13, a beginners workshop offering tips and techniques on growing a kitchen garden at home was held at The Garden Store, Seethammal Colony, Alwarpet.
This 1st session touched on why one should grow an organic garden. According to Sumithra Srikant, a resident of R. A. Puram, and one of the organisers of the workshop, in today’s world, tending to plants and gardening is a great stress-buster. They plan to have monthly workshops going forward.
