Gandhi Peace Foundation recently conducted an open book competition wherein students were required to create lesson modules for peace education based on Gandhian values. More than 40 schools from all over India participated in this competition. The prize distribution function for the same was held on Oct 10 at Ambujammal Street, Alwarpet. The chief guest was Swathanthra Sakthivel, correspondent of Vidyodaya Schools. Certificates and prizes were distributed to the students and teachers in charge of the project were honoured.
