School students participate in health, road safety awareness programme

ASSIST - CHENNAI HIGH SCHOOLAsia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST) recently organised its fifth I2can event at Chennai High School, Eldams Road on Oct 10. About 230 students attended workshops on health, road safety and fire/emergency response. Inspector K. Manivannan conducted the session on road safety and sub – inspector Sebastian talked about traffic signs. Fire safety issues were covered by retired fire officer – Raju of Thilak Associates.

It is a Pioneering initiative from ASSIST to reach across to the less privileged school children in Tamil Nadu with the powerful message on Road Safety Health Care & Fire Safety with their I2Can Awareness Program.
