The 9th annual day celebrations of Calibre International School, Mylapore will be held on Jan 24 at BVB, Mylapore. The students will present a live concert followed by a theatre production.
The school’s theater club produces the annual day shows every year. Jataka tales, Sindbad the sailor, Tenali Rama, Ponniyin Selvan, Alice in Wonderland and Around the world in 80 minutes are some of the popular productions by the students. These plays are creatively adapted under the guidance of their founder trustee – Arun Kumar Vaddi and the correspondent Madhuvanthi Arun, who is a theatre artist herself.
This year the theater club will be presenting an original play that revolves around global citizenship, peace & harmony based on the annual school theme “Globe, Global, Globalise”.
