The annual Sundaram Finance Mylapore Festival enters its fourth and final day this Sunday and has lined up some interesting live performance events at the Main Stage arena at Sannidhi Square. From nadaswaram to classical music, a medley of folk dances and a grand kattai-koothu performance by a group from Cheyyar.
The evening will begin with the second Kolam Contest on North Mada Street which is open to all. 100 people are expected here – this carpet of kolas will remain intact till about 6 p.m. as a display. Pallankuzhi contest is at 5 p.m.
The streets in the region will offer food, organic foodstuff, crafts and home products made by SHG members.
All events are free and open. 5 pm onwards.
