Fr. Vijay Kiran of the Madras-Mylapore diocese is flying off to the USA to take up a parish assignment at Baltimore. And if all goes well, he will then move to serve at a hospital campus in New Jersey.
Fr Kiran, who holds a double doctorate from Madras Univ. has been a priest for over 28 years in this region and studied vintage and heritage properties of the church here, focussed on ways to document them and spent a lot of time putting the diocese archives at San Thome in the Bishop’s House in order.
