A Manmatha varusha panchangam release function was held on Apr 5 at Sri Lakshmi Kamakshi Amman Temple at R. A. Puram. About 700 devotees gathered to receive the panchangam and prasadam from guru Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal. The event was organised by the Mylapore Unit of Thamiznadu Brahmin Association.

The Acharyas of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam will be camping at the temple till Apr 23. Daily events include a Sri Chandramouleeswara Pooja, veda parayanam and cultural programmes. A whole day rig veda parayanam has also been organised from Apr 10 – 16. All are welcome.
