This morning, May 20, a bunch of people nabbed a woman who seemed to be in her 50s who is said to have snatched the gold chain of a woman who was walking down Madha Church Road, at its junction at San Thome High Road.
When the victim cried for help, a bunch of men ran after and pinned down the alleged chain snatcher and rained blows on her. Meanwhile, a police patrol of Foreshore Estate police station arrived and women police bundled the crying woman into the van and took her away.
