Kho – Kho and songs, for Independence Day at special school

EKADAKSHA LEARNING CENTER - I DAYAt Ekadaksha Learning Centre, a school for special children at R. A. Puram,  Independence Day celebrations were a tad different.

The children who came dressed in the colours of the national flag – orange, white, green and blue were given the opportunity to wave the flag before it was finally hoisted by the teachers. They also played Kho – Kho, which was modified to suit their requirements, and listened to patriotic songs.

Ekadaksha takes care of the needs of autistic and intellectually changed children in the age group 4 – 18 years. Some of services offered at its centre include early intervention, pre-vocational training, creative art therapy, occupational therapy and more. Group communication and tennis classes are also provided during the weekends.
