Sunday breakfast stalls at cathedral gain patronage

The breakfast food stalls at St Thomas Cathedral seem to have gained patronage after they were launched to raise money for mission projects. Collections made at the sales have been going up and more people who attend Mass on Sundays here are patronizing the stalls.

Started two Sundays ago, the stalls are run by the local area ambiyums ( small Christian communities) of this parish; teams cook the food and sell it on the church campus. The stalls open after 7 a.m.and food is sold out by 10 a.m.

This project will run for one more week but its popularity may coax the parish priests to have them on now and then.
