A special concert is being held on November 22 evening where vocalist T M Krishna will be singing along with the students of Vidya Vanam (A School for Tribal & Underprivileged Children) and Dr. Sudha Raja’s Sargam Choir (A Chennai based youth group).
They will be presenting the Nottusvara Sahityas of Muttusvami Dikshitar – a set of 36 compositions composed by him in the early 19th century, based on English, Scottish and Irish airs. Krishna will also be speaking about the history of these compositions and their relevance.
