At the CBSE National Football (girls- under 19) Championship conducted from Nov 20 – 24 at Saint Soldier International School, Chandigarh, the girls of P. S. Senior Secondary school, Mylapore were declared the runners-up and awarded the silver medal.
This is the first time a girls football team from South India has entered the national finals. The top scorer (10 goals) of the tournament was R. Adhithi.
