Residents of Anandapuram Street which is located off Dr Ranga Road, Alwarpet have appealed to Traffic Police to address a problem that is bugging them for a long time – taxi operators converting the street sides as tax parking lots.
They say the taxis are often parked on both sides of this street and that often, residents just cannot find space for their guests to find space to park.
One resident who shared this photo of the scene says that though there is a No Parking board put up it does not discourage the drivers. She said that some times, cars are parked for days on end.
