St. Bede’s ‘A’ team enters final of TNCA city schools cricket tourney

The cricket team of St. Bede’s, its ‘A’ team has entered the final of the annual TNCA City Schools cricket tourney for under-16 players. It will face St Patrick’s school for the C. Ramaswamy trophy in a few days.

The St Bede’s A team had it easy in the semi-finals.

It beat PSBB Millennium by 7 wickets.

T D Lokesh Raj bagged four wickets for 27 runs and restricted the PSBB team and the Bede’s batters cruised safely in their innings, scoring 129 runs for the loss of just 3 wickets in response to the 126 all out score of PSBB.

C S D Srirangan of St Bede’s scored an unbeaten 39 runs to help his team canter to victory.
