A final layer on the relaid South Mada Street has been laid late last night but the edges are still sporting swept away soil. People expect North Mada and East Mada Streets also to be relaid quickly.
This work has to happen quickly because the Panguni fest of Sri Kapali Temple has already begun and chariots taken out in daily processions have to take the mada streets.
