Two entrepreneurs are starting up a Garage Cafe at Alwarpet and they need your help.
The cafe is planned in the outhouse of an old Madras bungalow. The duo says they need various moto/automobile-related stuff to create a sense of place.
Says S Shriram, one of the partners, “We are seeking various collectibles or memorabilia that have anything to do with automobiles. It could be murals, photos, spares, tyres, engines, what not. If you have know someone who has a rusting motorcycle or scooter, please refer us.”
Shriram says he will credit the donors and have a plaque at the cafe.
“We can pick up the stuff. Donors will get a drink and a food item once a month on the house and a 10% off on each bill all along. This is our humble way of showing kindness and gratitude,” says Shriram.
