Indian Institute of Material Management, Chennai is hosting a must attend song fest of lilting Bollywood retro hits – ‘Ye Shaam Mastani’ on April 30 to celebrate its golden jubilee. Guru-sishya music series
A guru-sishya music series featuring the 12 sishyas of guru Thanjavur. M. Thyagarajan in 12 concerts will be held from May 1 – 6. The event will be inaugurated at Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet on May 1. Organised by TMT Parampara. A veena concert by S. Mallika and a vocal recital by Nirmala Sundararajan will follow the inaugural ceremony. At T. T. K. Road, Alwarpet, 4 p.m. onwards.
