To commemorate saint-music composer Thyagaraja’s jayanthi, Sri Thiagaraja Sangeetha Vidwath Samajam, Mylapore organized a homam this morning at its campus and later this evening, will decorate veteran atistes Umayalpuram Sivaraman, Dr R S Jayalakshmi, Padma Narayanaswami and Vaikom Gopalakrishnan.
This event is at 6 pm and N. Murali of the Music Academy is the chief guest.
Thereafter, vocalist Kunnakudi M Balamuralikrishna will present a concert. Open to all.
