There was a buzz on North Mada Street on Friday morning as media staff began to assemble here in front of the NAC Jewellers stores on this Mylapore street. The shop was seen closed since morning and was not opened till past lunch time.
Vehicles of the Income Tax Dept. were seen close to the stores and the buzz was that tax-men were investigating at the stores.
There was no official word from the IT Dept or from NAC.
