Local churches have been awarding prizes / scholarships to the toppers among students of the parish who appeared for the State Board exams, results of which were announced late May.
The scholarships/awards are being given out of the parish church fund.
At San Thome Cathedral, the top three Catholic students of this parish in the Std.10 and Plus Two exams will be honoured after the 8.30 a.m. Tamil Holy Mass next Sunday.
