The body of a young man was found in the outer lobby of th MRTS rail station in Mandaveli on Thursday morning. He seemed to have passed away some hours before the case was reported
Local police were alerted and are investigating the case.
Many people sleep on the steps and lobby of the station here. The dead man was full clothed; the cause of his death is not known yet.
Police secure the station’s inside campus for limited hours and after dusk, many local people sit or sleep in the station’s outer campus be it in Mandaveli, Greenways Road or Thirumylai.
At Thirumylai, people say people who have a drink at the TASMAC bars closely hang around the station’s steps.
