Two events have been planned at Sri Vedanta Desikar Temple, Mylapore. The first is the Kodai Utsavam of Sri Srinivasa Perumal which will be held from July 5 – 11. Daily events include a thirumanjanam for Perumal and Thaayar in the morning at 10 a.m., unjal sevai with sandana kappu in the evening at 6 p.m. and thiruveedi purappadu at 7 p.m.
The second is a Sudharshana Mahayagnam which will be held on July 17. The kumbha mandala aradhanai will be held at 8 a.m. followed by the sankalpam. The homam will start at 10 a.m. and the prasadam will be distributed at 12.30 p.m. For details contact the temple at 24953799.
