Bharatanatya Kalalaya from Mumbai is presenting a group dance recital on the theme “Shivoham” at Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple on Sept.11, Sunday evening, 5.45 p.m. onwards.
Dance guru Geetha Venkateshwar is a renowned disciple from the bani of guru K M Dandayudhapani Pillai. She has been running Bharatanatya Kalalaya in Mumbai for 18 years now: prior to that it was run by Rajalakshmi Venkateshwar.
Geetha herself has performed extensively in India and abroad at various dance festivals and she has 100+ students who are presently learning from her.
