Carnatic music vocalists, the Dayananda Sisters are presenting a prayer event to invoke the Lord through ‘musical chants of sloka and musical meditation’ on the occasion of one year since swami Dayananda Saraswati’s ‘mahasamadhi’.
Titled Slokarpanam, the two artistes, Darshana and Sowmya who have been devotees of the swami and based in Chennai are hosting the tribute on Sept. 23, 6.45 p.m. onwards at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s mini hall, Mylapore.
Open to all.
