Two local schools – Vidya Mandir, Luz and P. S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore have declared a holiday in lieu of the bandh tomorrow. P. S. School has put up a notice on the school’s website stating that exams scheduled for Friday will be held on Saturday, Sep 17.
At Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya Higher Secondary School, Mandaveli, the principal Pandian says, “We have not received any information from the state government yet. Quarterly exams are going on and unless we get a notification from the government saying that the exams have been cancelled and the school is closed, we will be working tomorrow”.
At St. Bede’s Anglo Indian School, San Thome, parents have been asked to wait for a message which will be sent out after 6 p.m. today.
