A new vegetarian Bistro that has Continental dishes and some Indian ones too on its menu has opened its doors at a Alwarpet address. Soul Garden Bistro opened a few weeks ago on Bawa Road, Alwarpet. The main fare offered here is Continental – fries and nachos for starters, pastas, pizzas and burgers for the main course. A few Indian dishes are on the menu – one of which is Maggi!
Most of the seating is outdoors – mosquitoes can be a big pain, so electric repellants are provided which do offer some protection from the nuisance. There is also an open space which can host a big party – this space comes with a huge projection screen, as a bonus.
The big draw of the place are the desserts – these are offered by an outlet – 196 degree below Dessert Lab – located in the premises.
The Dessert Lab, serves freshly made ice creams cooled by liquid nitrogen, sorbets, Greek yogurt, waffle, mock tails and thick shakes, nitro popcorn and much more.
It also offers Gelato, no-sugar and vegan versions of ice cream. Kids would love to take a look at the ice cream being made – it is like a lab with creams in beakers and toppings sauce in syringes.
