Weekend events: Classic English movie screening and a comic’s view of the Ramayana

CLASSIC MOVIE SCREENING – Vintage Heritage has organised the screening of the English classic ‘The Corsican Brothers’ featuring Douglas Fairbanks. This was remade into the Tamil movie Apoorva Sagodharargal in 1949, by Gemini Studios. On Mar 19, 6 p.m. at P. S. High School, R. K. Mutt Road, Mylapore. Ph: 24728396, 9444411091, 9444047714.

    IF SUCH A DRAMA HAD BEEN PRODUCED BY A MUSLIM, COMMUNAL FANATICS WOULD NOT HAVE HESITATED TO MAKE A TERRIBLE HUE AND CRY. WHY ARE THEY SILENT NOW?
