The highlight of the golu was a specially crafted doll of Sri Ramanujar in the form of ‘Thamana Thirumeni’ brought in from Srirangam. Thamana Thirumeni is a form of the saint’s mummified physical body.
Sri Ramanujar’s pictorial life history consisting of 112 colourful frames was displayed as a backdrop.
On the last day, a special pooja, dance and music concert was organised for the guests who had gathered there. A talk was also given by Dr. Vidya Sainath on Sri Ramanujar and his teachings. After the pooja, prasadam was distributed to the guests.
