Seminar on Sanskrit teaching at schools held at CPR Foundation

CPR FoundationC.P.R. Institute of Indological Research, the academic research wing of The C. P. Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation, Alwarpet recently held a seminar on “The status of teaching Sanskrit in schools”.

Dr. T. P. Radhakrishnan, principal, Sanskrit College, was the chief guest for the seminar and Dr. Nanditha Krishna, president, The C.P. Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation, presided over the function.

Around 50 Sanskrit teachers, from various streams such as CBSE, matriculation, aided and ICSE, participated in the seminar. Senior and experienced teaching faculty of Sanskrit presented papers at this event. The chief guest also distributed the prizes to the winners of the inter school Sanskrit drama competitions held earlier.
