The first edition of the Madras Quiz in Tamil will be held on August 27, 2pm ( Sunday afternoon) onwards at Lady Sivaswamy Ayyar Girls School, Mylapore. This event is part of the ongoing Madras Day celebrations and is an attempt to broad base the spread of events.
This quiz is based on Chennai/Madras and is open to all age groups – students, seniors, children. Teams of two can take part. Preliminary written round takes place first and then the top four teams take part in final.
The quiz master is Dr. Sumanth C. Raman who conducted the Madras Quiz in English last Sunday at AMM School, Kotturpuram
All questions will be based on the city, its people, places and events.
No prior registration required. Four teams of two each will feature in the final round. There are prizes for all finalists and some surprise gifts too.
